Eastern Color Printing was incorporated in 1928 in Waterbury, Connecticut. In addition to publishing its own comic books from 1933-1955, the company also printed comics for many of its competitors, such as Marvel and DC, until the early 1970s. Eastern stopped printing comic books in the early 1970s and moved to Avon in 1973. It closed its doors in the summer of 2002.
